So, the title pretty much says it all.
There hasn't been too much going on. School, school, school. I just turned in an eleven page paper I've been working on along with a hundred note cards for it. X___x And my grades have slipped a little, so I've got to kick it into gear and get my ass working hard again. Stupid school. I can't wait to get out. I literally have a countdown (in my new 32GB iTouch!) going.

But there was /one/ thing that was particularly amazing: the Emilie Autumn concert in Chicago. The show was absolutely splendid in and of itself, but there was something that made it extra special. And he goes by the name Casey Mitchell(Emilie's personal photographer)!

He's such a wonderful person to talk to, and unlike most people, I felt right at home with him right away. The gist of it is this:
On July 25 this year, Emilie had an Asylum book reading in Chicago and my friend Hayley and I attended. We met Emilie, and she was even more amazing than I expected and we talked for more than five minutes. Anyway, after getting autographs, pictures, and talking, Hayley and I had scuttled away from the big crowd of muffins around Emilie to get to a clearer area under a tree. Well, that's when Casey, who'd been recording the whole thing for Emilie's Opheliac Deluxe Edition US Release(Which I am in :]), approached Hayley and I and asked if we would like to model for him someday.

That was the most amazing thing ever. I was floored. I felt like I wasn't me, like I was watching, because things like that just don't happen to me. But it did! So Casey and I kept in touch through MySpace and e-mail and we met up at Emilie's Chicago show on November 6.
He got Hayley and I in for free ahead of anyone else. In fact, we got in while they were setting up the stage and met the manager of the hall and saw Emilie and Veronika and Aprella getting ready for the show. The manager was nice enough to let Hayley and I lock our things up in his office so that we could help Casey with photography and videography, which we did all night, with a beautiful view of the stage. We were also the last concert-goers to leave. :] We got into the VIP after-show meeting even though we didn't have VIP tix because we were with Casey. And he was so nice and fun to talk to.
It was simply amazing. And on December 6, I'm going to the Pontiac show of Emilie's and Casey may be there - we'll see. :]

Anyway, other than all that excitement, everything's just the same old, same old.
